Your dog isn’t food motivated because they either have no value in their food or they won’t take food in certain situations because they’re over stimulated (too much going on)

Dogs generally are not pulling to “be the leader”. They are living in the moment and likely smell something you don’t that they’re trying to get to.

Don’t punish your dog for growling as this is an important warning sign before a dog bites. The best course of action is to determine why they growled and try to change their need to growl.
